This Health and Safety Awareness course is designed for learners considering, or already working within the construction and engineering industry.
This course provides practical advice when dealing with potential hazards when working on-site. With modules focusing on keeping yourself and colleagues safe, this course covers the responsibilities on what to do when someone’s health and safety is in danger.
The certification for this course is valid for 5 years. Upon expiry, you will need to retake the course.
1 day (all learners are required to complete the full 7.5 hours for certification).
The examination will consist of 25 multiple choice questions, with 20 questions being worth one mark each and 5 questions worth 2 marks each. Learners are required to get a mark of at least 25/30 (83%) to pass the examination.
This Site Management Safety Training Scheme course is designated for aspiring and existing construction site managers who are responsible for organising, planning and monitoring groups of staff.
This course highlights the importance of communication when sustaining a safe and healthy culture when working on-site as well as the need for risk assessment in the workplace.
The certification for this course is valid for 5 years. Before expiry, you will need to take a refresher course, otherwise the full course will need to be retaken.
5 day (all learners are required to complete the full 7 hours for certification).
The examination will consist of 25 questions, with 18 multiple-choice questions and 7 questions in short multiple-response format (each being worth 2 marks). Learners are required to get a mark of at least 26/32 (81%) to pass the examination.
This course is specifically for learners who have previously passed a Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) course and hold a valid SMSTS certificate. This course has the aim of bringing up to date knowledge of health and safety and legislative changes when working on-site.
2 day (all learners are required to complete the full 15 hours total for their certification).
The examination will consist of 25 questions, with 18 multiple-choice questions and 7 questions in short multiple-response format (each being worth 2 marks). Learners are required to get a mark of at least 26/32 (81%) to pass the examination.
This Site Supervision Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS) course is suitable for individuals considering or already have supervisory responsibilities on construction sites.
The certification for this course is valid for 5 years. Before expiry, you will need to take a refresher course, otherwise the full course will need to be retaken.
2 day (all learners are required to complete the full 15 hours for certification).
The examination will consist of 25 questions, with 22 multiple-choice questions and 3 short multiple-response format (worth between 1-3 marks). This exam includes four safety critical questions, which the learner must answer all four correctly to pass. Learners are required to get a mark of at least 24/30 (80%) to pass the examination.
This course is strictly for learners who have previously passed a Site Supervision Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS) course. This course will help learners implement new industry guidance and practices that will keep their workers safe when working on-site.
1 day (all learners are required to complete 7.5 hours for certification).
The examination will consist of 25 questions, with 22 multiple-choice questions and 3 short multiple-response format (worth between 1-3 marks). This exam includes four safety critical questions, which the learner must answer all four correctly to pass. Learners are required to get a mark of at least 24/30 (80%) to pass the examination.
This Site Environmental Awareness Training course is designated to site supervisors and managers with the aim of providing increased awareness environmental issues on construction sites.
1 day (all learners are required to complete the full 7 hours for certification).
The examination will consist of 25 questions, with 22 multiple-choice questions and 3 short multiple-response questions, scoring between 1 and 3 marks. Learners are required to get a mark of at least 24/30 (80%) to pass the examination.
This Director’s Role for Health and Safety course is designated for senior construction managers and company directors who hold an important role within health and safety strategy, recognising their duties of care within a build environment.
1 day (all learners are required to complete the full 7.5 hours for certification).
The examination will consist of 30 questions, including multiple-choice questions multiple response questions and short written answers. Learners are required to get a mark of at least 24/30 (80%) to pass the examination.
This Temporary Works Co-ordinator Training course is tailored for individuals who have responsibility organising temporary works within construction, with the purpose of knowledge of the role within temporary works.
2 day (all learners are required attend both days and complete the full 15 hours for certification).
TThe examination will consist of 22 questions, including 18 multiple-choice questions (each worth 1 mark) and 4 free text questions (each worth 1-3 marks). Learners are required to get a mark of at least 21/27 (78%) to pass the examination.
This one-day refresher course is specifically dedicated to learners who have previously passed a Temporary Works Co-ordinator Training course (TWCTC) within the last 5 years.
1 day (all learners are required to complete the full 7 hours & 45 mins for certification).
The examination will consist of 22 questions, including 18 multiple-choice questions (each worth 1 mark) and 4 free text questions (each worth 1-3 marks). Learners are required to get a mark of at least 21/27 (78%) to pass the examination.
This Temporary Works Supervisor Training course is tailored for individuals who are responsible in supervising all temporary works on-site.
1 day (all learners are required to complete the full 7.5 hours for certification).
The examination will consist of 22 questions, including 19 multiple-choice questions (each worth 1 mark) and 3 free text questions (each worth 2-3 marks). This exam is 45 minutes and learners are required to get a mark of at least 21/27 (80%) to pass the examination.
This Tunnelling Safety Training Scheme is a one-day course designed for members who work in the tunnelling sector of the construction industry, to help understand the health and safety aspects of tunnelling industry and how it affects them.
1 day (all learners are required to complete the full 7.5 hours for certification).
The examination will consist of 25 multiple-choice type questions. This exam is 30 minutes and learners are required to get a mark of at least 18/25 (72%) to pass the examination.

The duration of the course is 3 to 4 hours.
On finishing the course your understanding is evaluated by a multiple-choice exam. A 60-minute multiple-choice exam in which you need to score at least 80% to pass (32/40).
After completing your course you will be granted a certificate which has lifetime validity. It is important you keep this certificate to apply for your CSCS Green Card.
Online Training : This course is done online on your computer or laptop. It can be completed online in the comfort of your own home or workplace. Online training is available 24/7, meaning you can complete this even on weekend or bank holidays. At the time of renewal of your CSCS Green card you just need to pass a CITB Operative test and get your Green labourer card.
